If you own factons there are many quests which give you as much as 3000 exp. Do enough of these quests and you'll level up pretty quickly.

I easily get my chars to level 18 on the starter island just by doing the quests/missions along with every single profesion quests. doing all of those profesion quests is teadious but youll be very happy when your few levels above everyone in mission/quests and they hover over to you because who would you rather have on your team a level 8 or a level 12? hmmm lol

Make sure to not use the henchman as a back up for your quests. While it can be challanging it makes for poor learning when playing a warrior in groups to come. As I have discovered pvp/pve.

And no this isn't wow quests , enjoyment and grouping with new people will be what rounds out your warrior.

Ps- Follow your primary and explore as you go likely you'll find that place your after =D

I'm not sure where I read this, could be from Prima, but the words of wisdom goes something like this:

Get the quests
Kill monsters and complete quest
DO NOT GET REWARD FOR QUEST
Continue from city to city completing quests
After you are done the quests on the island, go back and get rewards

The reason is monsters give you less XP the higher level you are. Quest rewards stay the same regardless of your level. IE: Quest reward 1000 XP. If you are level 1 it is a great boon. If you are level 19, not so much. But 1000XP is 1000 XP. Monster vs you at level 1, 50XP. Same monster vs you at level 18, 0XP. See the difference? XP for monsters are determined by your level. Quest XP is not. Yes you will have get some rewards, but not all of them. You'll get bored fighting in 1 area from level 1 to 20. You'll die a lot too.
